Dr. Andres Giovannetti is a board-certified general surgeon. He obtained his medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and completed his General Surgery Residency and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery Fellowship in Caracas, Venezuela. He moved to Chicago and completed a General Surgery Residency at the University of Illinois Metropolitan Group Hospitals, after which he pursued a Robotic Advanced Gastrointestinal and Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary (HPB) Surgery Fellowship at AdventHealth Tampa (formerly Florida Hospital Tampa).

His extensive training has provided Dr. Giovannetti the expertise to treat common surgical conditions such as hernias and gallstones as well as complex benign and malignant disorders of the liver, pancreas and biliary system.

In his spare time, Dr. Giovannetti enjoys baking, cooking and spending time with his family. He is a native Spanish speaker.
